Overview of Club: Porthmawr SLSC was formed in 1961 by Dr George Middleton to offer assistance and support to people bathing at Whitesands Beach in St Davids, Pembrokeshire. Over the years the Club has grown to become one of the more popular destinations for training events and competitions in Wales. The Club hosts the annual Junior Training Weekend and IRB Training and Exams Weekend for SLSA Wales and its annual Nipper Carnival in late August each year is the highlight of the Clubs activities for the season.
